Spotted! Last week, this impressive installation vessel sailed right past our site. Freshly christened and immediately off to its first job: installing offshore wind turbines. There’s always something to see from our workplace in the Port of Rotterdam. Now that’s what we call energising! — Gespot! Vorige week voer dit indrukwekkende werkschip vlak langs ons terrein. Meet Francesco, our new technical warehouse employee! ️ Together with his colleagues, he makes sure all orders are prepared and the anchors and chains are assembled impeccably. It’s a varied role that suits him perfectly: there’s always something going on, and no two days are the same. “I’m excited to keep learning, gain new experience, and eventually work independently.” What has stood out to him most so far about working at Wortelboer? “Team spirit! Even when it’s busy, communication remains strong and there’s always room for a bit of fun.” We’re happy to have you on board, Francesco! — Ontmoet Francesco, onze nieuwe technisch loodsmedewerker! ️ Samen met zijn collega’s zorgt hij ervoor dat alle orders worden klaargemaakt en de ankers en kettingen perfect worden gemonteerd. Een afwisselende baan die hem op het lijf geschreven is: er is altijd iets te doen en geen dag is hetzelfde. “Ik kijk ernaar uit om steeds meer te leren, nieuwe ervaringen op te doen en uiteindelijk helemaal zelfstandig aan de slag te kunnen.” Wat hem tot nu toe het meest opvalt aan werken bij Wortelboer? “De werksfeer!
