Did you know that one length of anchor chain is exactly . metres? ️ This standard originated from the British Royal Navy, where chains were formerly measured in shackles. One shackle equals . metres, a practical length on board that has since become the global norm. At Wortelboer, we supply stud-link and short-link anchor chains in a wide range of sizes and finishes. All directly available from stock. — Wist je dat één lengte van een ankerketting precies , meter is? ️ Die standaard komt uit de Britse Royal Navy, waar kettingen vroeger werden gemeten in ‘shackles’.
